As far as design goes, the blade size is more compact than the Churchill Makapuu fins, giving drop knee riders a little bit of an edge. The foot pocket is plenty soft and the blades are pretty hard plus these pups are made out of rubber that floats. size tip: If you are inbetween sizes you are better off getting the larger size and buying "fin teathers" which save your fins in case one comes off in the water.
