| Ok, the weather is starting to warm up
and it's time to get out of the house and do a little ... something ... you,
know ... just go ... somewhere. So, you check the old Wavejammer positive
vibe-o-rama surf-a-go-go message board, and in between all the posts about
spongers riding the foamball, and groms asking if it's too cold in january to
go out in their spring suit, you find a post about a party in Silverton. Do you
go? Or do you stay at home watching the cartoon network? So, how people are
likely to show up? |

| The results of our last poll showed a close call between going
for the cold (as long as it's overhead, glassy and not crowded) or going for
some smaller surf (as long as it's glassy, warm and not crowded). Not too many
wanted to go for the crowded session or the onshore winds, even if it meant
overhead and warm. And one vote came in for waist high, onshore, cold, crowded
and sharks - now, that's a good session - although a little thunder and
lightning thrown in would really juice it up. |
What are your favorite surf conditions (after perfection)? Here's
how the 32 responses stacked up :
- 12 for overhead, glassy, cold, no crowds
- 5 for overhead, glassy, warm, crowded
- 4 for overhead, onshore, warm, no crowds
- 10 for waist high, glassy, warm, no crowds
- 1 for waist high, onshore, cold, crowded,
sharks
