How to get
there:
Take Garden State Parkway exit 82 for Route 37 East. Go about 3 miles, until
you see Taco Bell on the left. Make a U-turn at the Vaughn Ave. jughandle.
We're 200 yards down on the right.
Coming from the beach, heading west, we're about 2.5 miles from the Route 37
bay bridge. Look for the Mobil station on the right at Vaughn Ave. We're 200
yards down on the right. |
| This is where we've been since 1988.
Our original shop, which opened in 1985, was actually right next door in what
is now Jersey Mikes Subs, and part of Q-balls. If you're sitting there in
Jersey Mikes eating a Club Sub (highly recommended) and you get this weird
flashback, that's because you're sitting in the exact spot that once housed the
original Wavejammer bikini collection (hallowed ground, no doubt). |

While we're talking a little history
here, from 1987 to 1997 we had another shop down in Barnegat, NJ, first in the
Cumberland Farms plaza on West Bay Avenue and then in historic downtown
Barnegat. To all of our friends in Barnegat and southern Ocean County, thanks
for your support. Sorry we couldn't stick around - it was one of those things.
