how to order

Any of the items in our online catalog can be placed in the shopping cart by clicking on "Add to Your Shopping Cart". You can "View Your Shopping Cart" and make changes to quantities at any time. When you are ready to order, click on "Go to Checkout Now". You will always have a chance to change and confirm that your order is correct before submitting it.

At the time of checkout you will be able to select from several methods for submitting your order. These include:

order by credit card by FAX
order by credit card by Postal Mail
order by money order by Postal Mail
order by PayPal online

For online credit card ordering, your order and credit card information will be encrypted in transit using our secure server. Upon submitting your online order, you will receive an immediate acknowledgment by email that we received your order. If we have any questions or are sold out of an item, we will e-mail you within 24 hours.

Of course, if you prefer, you can always call in your order by phone : TOLL FREE : 877-736-4476 (within New Jersey please call 732-929-8656). Hours for phone orders are as follows (7 days a week):

In addition to credit cards, payment can be made by mailing in a money order. Sorry, no checks are accepted.

We make every effort to keep a good stock on all items in our online catalog. In the event that an item you've ordered is out of stock, we will promptly inform you by email, with an estimate of how long it might be before it is back in stock. At that time you can either agree to wait or cancel your order.

No charges are ever processed until the product is ready to ship.

Please note that some clothing items come in assorted colors which may be different from the color pictured on our catalog page. For some products you can specify your 1st, 2nd and 3rd color choices. Unless you choose the 'any color' option for one of these choices, we will inform you by email if none of your color choices is available. Some items may come in so many different unique colors that the color choice boxes will not be offered for those items. If you have any special requests regarding color or any other matters, please describe them in the Special Instructions section in the Check Out Page.

Refunds are available on any products returned in original condition and packaging, provided that you put them in return transportation within one week of your receipt of the product.

Wavejammer credit is available on any products returned in original condition and packaging, provided that you put them in return transportation within 30 days of your receipt of the product.

Exchanges: the customer will pay for all return shipping fees to Wavejammer. Wavejammer will pay for UPS Ground shipping to any location in the continental US for the first exchange. All susequent exchanges or any exchanges outside the continental US will be billed to the customer.

Shipping charges are not refundable. Only the list price and any taxes will be refunded or credited in any return.

Sale Price Adjustments : If an item which you order is reduced to a lower price and you notify us within 5 days of your order being placed, we will refund you the difference. After 5 days of your order being placed no price adjustments will be made.

special notes for PayPal customers

Orders paid for via PayPal will not be processed if your shipping address has the "Unconfirmed" status. So, please register your shipping address with PayPal before placing your order.

In the event that your order can not be fulfilled, either because of an unconfirmed shipping address, or because the item is out of stock, your PayPal payment will be refunded 100% and you will be notified of the problem and the refund, usually within 24 hours.

We offer the option to pay via PayPal as a covenience to our customers who prefer that method. However, please be aware of certain factors that may make payment via PayPal less desirable than directly paying with your credit card.

One difficulty can arise in merchandise returns. If you return an item for a refund which you have paid for via PayPal, and the item is not received back at Wavejammer within 60 calendar days after your order is placed, then the PayPal seller's fee will be deducted from your refund amount. This fee is approximately 3% of the PayPal payment.

This 60 day period is defined by PayPal, beyond which the refund can not be offered without a charge by PayPal. As always, shipping charges are not refundable and all other normal return policies are applicable.

We're sorry for these extra restrictions for PayPal customers. As the PayPal system evolves, perhaps some of these difficulties will be resolved. But currently, for some situations, direct payment by credit card is preferable over PayPal.

special notes for international customers

We are currently only accepting international orders for U.S. military bases (APO or FPO).
US Military bases (APO and FPO) will be shipped via insured US Priority mail. Shipping charges based upon calculations made on the US Mail web site will be added to the cost of the goods ordered.
Unfortunately, we are no longer accepting Canadian orders, due to difficulties in predicting the additional surcharges, "Brokerage Fees" and other customs matters.
