The great thing about going on a surf
trip to Barbados .... aside from the great vibe , the Banks beer and the
awesome Flying Fish sandwiches .... is the fact that you can travel from one
end of the island to the other in less than an hour. This makes checking
multiple breaks a snap .... but haveing a great map to reference sure does make
things easier. It sucks to get lost anywhere and Barbados in no exception. This
map from Berndtson maps is printed on plastic coated pages which make it water
and Banks Beer resistant .... as well as extra durable. On one side of the map
is a road map of the entire country and on the other side are enlarged road
maps for Bridgetown, the West Coast, the South Coast and Garrison. The full
sized road map of Barbados has a scale of 1 : 60,000 and 1" roughly equals a
little under a mile. Folded up this map measures a little less than 9.5" by
4.25" and unfolded it measures about 25.5" by 19.5". (sku-#59-233)
